Metropolis Details

We are so excited as the end of the year show, “Metropolis” is right around the corner!

We currently need food and snack donations for the performers backstage on rehearsal days and performance day. If you are able to help please respond to this email and we will let you know some of the things we currently need.

We welcome volunteers (class moms to assist backstage and dads & moms as security and ushers). All volunteer moms assigned for backstage must assist all dress rehearsals. If interested, please respond to this email. All volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket for themselves to the show & a volunteer shirt.

  • Toddlers Call Time 5PM-6PM
  • All Dancers must come wearing Complete Uniform: Blue MDF Leotard, skin color tights, black MDF shorts, hair in a Performance BUN, appropriate shoes needed for each dance & blue MDF jacket.
  • We will meet in the theater.
  • DROP OFF ONLY.

FRIDAY, JUNE 16TH

  • Toddlers Call Time 10AM-11AM
  • Sign IN/Drop Off: Parents will need to sign in and sign out dancers. Volunteers and Staff are the only ones allowed on stage and in the dressing rooms.
  • Dancers must arrive and leave wearing their Complete Uniform (see above).
  • This is a dress rehearsal. This means we will be running the show with lights, and music as if it was the day of the show.
  • All dancers must bring ALL costumes, accessories, shoes, ext. needed for the show AND come with hair and makeup done.Label EVERYTHING, with dancer’s names.
  • Dancers should have a list of items they brought so before they leave they can make sure to take ALL items.
  • Place each costume inside duffle bag in a zip lock bag/ plastic bag with the name of each dance. This will help the dancers stay organized.
  • Please do not send dancers missing costumes, shoes, etc.
  • We will have Snacks for dancers, but please send them a lunch, water and snacks.
  • DANCERS ARE NOT ALLOWED LEAVE EARLY.
  • We will meet in the theater.
  • DROP OFF ONLY.
